Dream Catcher Details

DREAM CATCHER, 2009 L40 Owners Version

Boat story: The boat had been originally commissioned December 2008 (she is a 2009 model year). The original owner decided he wanted a boat with all the factory options – so he checked off the entire list of options. After commissioning the boat in South Africa, the original owner sailed her to Brazil and up to Florida. After a year of ownership he sold her to purchase a bigger boat. The new owner brought her to South Carolina. After starting some improvements, the new owner was forced to sell due to medical issues after only six months. We purchased Dream Catcher in December of 2011 in Little River, SC. We eventually brought her to Milford, CT in June of 2012. We then prepared the boat for our voyage, leaving in September 2013. Since then, we’ve travelled the east coast and down to the Bahamas. In the summer we’ve hung out in the Chesapeake. We’d love to continue doing this forever, but it was never the plan. We've had our fun, now it is someone else's turn.

In April 2016, we hauled the boat, replaced the seals in the saildrives, serviced the Yanmars and the generator, removed and repainted the bottom, waxed the entire boat and resealed the port cabin window (a common problem with Leopards). The boat is ready for another season. Everything works and you can plan your next adventure with a minimum of effort to put into the boat.

Boat is in Old Port Cove Marina, North Palm Beach, FL

The boat has been listed with the Moorings. Here is the link to the Yachtworld listing.

NOTE: italics have been used to reflect areas of the boat that are either not standard or have been upgraded/fixed
